Refund policy
Last updated: [29 July 2026]
30-day return period
We offer consumers a 30-day return period for most standard products purchased through www.tickrmeter.com and www.tickrmeter.dk.
The 30-day period begins on the day you receive the product.
This commercial return policy is in addition to mandatory consumer rights. Consumers in the EU and EEA have a statutory right to withdraw from most online purchases within at least 14 days after receiving the goods.
Starting a return
Contact hello@tickrmeter.com within the applicable return period.
Include:
-
Your order number.
-
Your name and country.
-
The products you wish to return.
-
Whether the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or simply no longer wanted.
You do not need to give a reason when exercising a mandatory right of withdrawal.
Wait for our return instructions before sending the parcel. Depending on the order and destination, we will provide the correct return address or an available return-label option.
Products returned to an address not provided by us may be delayed or lost.
EU consumer returns will be directed to an appropriate return location in accordance with applicable law and the information provided at purchase.
Return deadline
After notifying us that you wish to withdraw or return the order, send the products without undue delay and normally within 14 days after giving notice.
Keep the shipping receipt and tracking number until the return has been completed.
Product condition
You may inspect a product in the same way that you reasonably could in a physical store to determine its nature, characteristics and operation.
You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling or use beyond what was reasonably necessary for that inspection.
Please return, where available:
-
The TickrMeter device.
-
Supplied cables, stands and accessories.
-
Manuals and inserts.
-
The original packaging.
Original packaging is strongly recommended because it protects the product, but its absence does not automatically remove mandatory withdrawal rights.
Removing the device from your account
Before returning a TickrMeter, please:
-
Remove the device from your TickrMeter account.
-
Remove personal portfolio, playlist and alert information.
-
Perform the available reset process.
-
Package the device securely.
These steps protect your information and help us inspect and process the return.
Failure to remove the device from your account may delay processing while we verify ownership and reset it. It does not automatically remove a mandatory right to a refund.
Return shipping costs
For a change-of-mind return, the customer pays the direct return-shipping cost unless:
-
We have agreed to pay it.
-
We provided a free return label.
-
Applicable law requires us to pay it.
If we provide a paid return label for a change-of-mind return, the disclosed label cost may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted.
We cover reasonable return costs for valid claims involving defective, damaged, materially misdescribed or incorrect products.
Refunds
We will confirm when the return has been received or when sufficient proof of return has been provided.
For EU statutory withdrawals, refunds are made without undue delay and no later than required by applicable law. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or received evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.
For a valid EU withdrawal, the refund includes the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound-delivery option offered for the order. Additional express or premium shipping costs are not refundable unless required by law.
Bank and payment-provider processing times may affect when the refunded amount becomes visible in your account.
Deductions
Where legally permitted, we may deduct:
-
A reduction in value caused by use beyond reasonable inspection.
-
Missing accessories or components.
-
Damage caused by inadequate return packaging.
-
Disclosed return-label costs for a change-of-mind return.
-
Actual return costs arising from an incorrect address, refusal or failure to collect.
We will explain any deduction.
We do not charge an arbitrary restocking fee for ordinary consumer returns.
Defective products and two-year legal rights
Consumers purchasing from a Danish business have a two-year legal right to complain about defects covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Customers in other countries may have additional mandatory rights.
Contact hello@tickrmeter.com with the order number and a clear description of the problem. Photographs or video may help us diagnose the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may be:
-
Troubleshooting or software correction.
-
Repair.
-
Replacement.
-
A proportionate price reduction.
-
A refund where repair or replacement is unavailable, unsuccessful or otherwise not appropriate under applicable law.
Valid defect claims will be handled without cost to the consumer where required by law, including reasonable shipping costs.
Damage on arrival or incorrect products
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:
-
The parcel arrives damaged.
-
An item is missing.
-
You receive the wrong product.
-
The product is defective on arrival.
Keep the packaging and provide photographs where possible. We will arrange an appropriate replacement, repair, missing-item shipment or refund.
Exceptions
Change-of-mind returns may be unavailable for:
-
Products made to the customer’s specifications.
-
Clearly personalised or engraved products.
-
Custom-branded corporate orders.
-
Other products lawfully exempt from withdrawal rights.
An exception does not remove rights relating to defects, misdescription or damage.
Sale and promotional products remain covered by mandatory consumer rights. Any special commercial-return limitation will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Gift cards and immediately delivered digital products may be non-refundable where permitted by law, except where mandatory rights apply.
Exchanges
The quickest exchange method is normally to return the original product and place a new order.
For defective or incorrect products, contact us before ordering a replacement so we can arrange the appropriate remedy.
Business orders
Business-to-business, wholesale and customised orders may be subject to separate return and cancellation conditions included in the quotation or contract.
